About The Position
Traditions Home Health Services is currently seeking compassionate, skilled, reliable, and experienced Veterans, Companions, Home Health Aides for the Plymouth and surrounding areas to assist with our senior clients who are in need of support with Activities of daily living and household support and companionship. Most of these clients are Veterans who need assistance in their own homes. If you are a Veteran, looking for ways to assist other Veterans in your community please apply! Shifts Available: Daily 4-Hour Shifts example: 8am-12pm, 9am-1pm, 10am-2pm etc.... 3pm-7pm, 4pm-8pm Daily 5–8-hour Shifts example: 9am-3pm, 9am-4pm We also have 4-hour shifts in the following areas: Wareham Kingston Marshfield. Requirements
- Home Health Aide Certification or CNA Certification
- 2+Years experience working with your Certification
- Must be kind, compassionate, reliable, and skilled HHA
- Must have experience working with Dementia
- Clean driving record, ability to pass a CORI check
- Current TB test, QuantiFERON Gold Test, or X-ray
- Dementia care experience
- Speak, read, write the English language clearly, and effective communication skills.
- You must own a cell phone.

Responsibilities
- CNA or HHA would assist with the Activities of Living, personal care
- CNA or HHA would assist with light housekeeping
- CNA or HHA would encourage walking, exercising
- CNA or HHA would encourage stimulating conversation
- CNA or HHA would assist Activities and exercise according to the Care Plan
- CNA or HHA would encourage fluid intake, possible meal prep in accordance with orders/Care Plan
- Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant would competently documenting shift activities frequently during the shift digitally using a smartphone
- Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant would report any concerns to the Traditions Home Health Services Office Support Team in a timely manner
