About The Position
Traditions Home Health Services is seeking compassionate, skilled, reliable, and experienced Companions and Home Health Aides for the Boston and surrounding areas. The role involves assisting senior clients, many of whom are Veterans, with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), household support, and companionship in their own homes. The company is particularly interested in Veterans looking to assist other Veterans in their community. Requirements
- Home Health Aide Certification or CNA Certification
- 2+Years experience working with your Certification
- Must be kind, compassionate, reliable, and skilled HHA
- Must have experience working with Dementia
- Clean driving record, ability to pass a CORI check
- Current TB test, QuantiFERON Gold Test, or X-ray
- Dementia care experience
- Speak, read, write the English language clearly, and effective communication skills
- You must own a cell phone

Responsibilities
- CNA or HHA would assist with the Activities of Living, personal care
- CNA or HHA would assist with light housekeeping
- CNA or HHA would encourage walking, exercising
- CNA or HHA would encourage stimulating conversation
- CNA or HHA would assist Activities and exercise according to the Care Plan
- CNA or HHA would encourage fluid intake, possible meal prep in accordance with orders/Care Plan
- Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant would competently documenting shift activities frequently during the shift digitally using a smartphone
- Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant would report any concerns to the Traditions Home Health Services Office Support Team in a timely manner
