About The Position

We are looking for a Venue Technology Supervisor to join our team! As a Venue Technology Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing technology needs of the Food & Beverage and Merchandise operations at Highmark Stadium, including but not limited to Point of Sale technology (terminals, peripherals, etc.), desktop support, venue technology projects, and day-to-day management support. Nice To Haves

  • Preferred knowledge in general networking
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; proven ability to organize, manage, and complete multiple tasks in a timely fashion
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Availability open to event-based schedule, including late hours and weekends
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 to include operating system, office systems

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot point of sale systems, including terminals, receipt printers, scanners, and payment devices
  • Provide day-to-day technical support for personal computers, printers, and other office hardware and software
  • Replace defective hardware as needed
  • Conduct stadium walk-throughs to ensure all systems are operational prior to and during all events
  • Assess and prioritize issues and requests accordingly to minimize operational impact
  • Assist in maintaining a PCI compliant environment, including keeping an updated hardware inventory of POI devices
  • Provide basic network support, including troubleshooting connectivity issues for wired and wireless devices
  • Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training
  • Complete other duties as assigned
