The Vendor and Partner Network Director is responsible for building, managing, and optimizing a network of contractors and service providers supporting the company’s commercial real estate due diligence projects. This role involves strategic planning, sourcing, quality management, and strong relationship building to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services while maintaining compliance and risk mitigation. The qualified candidate will have successful experience leading the strategy, development, management, and ongoing growth of a national vendor network across a variety of due diligence services, including environmental, property condition, ALTA Land Survey, appraisal, and more. This is a high visibility leadership role with direct impact on service delivery, operational efficiency, and client experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Real Estate, or related experience.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in partner network creation and management, including coordination, contractor management, procurement, and operations coordination, preferably in the commercial real estate, due diligence, or appraisal management industry.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and vendor-risk guidelines.
  • Proven experience managing vendor networks, performance metrics, and quality programs.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills, coupled with a strategic mindset.
  • Proficient in database management specific to large vendor management.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement towards business growth.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to foster effective relationships.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Network Growth Strategy and Process Execution
  • Partner with vendors, business line leaders and internal recruiters to build a comprehensive strategy to successfully source and identify qualified contractors and service providers with an ongoing focus on quality network expansion.
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive network database of approved contractors, including qualifications, and certifications, by expertise, geography, and performance across all service lines.
  • Partner with sales and operations to forecast pipeline needs and strategically expand the network, tracking gross margin, identifying and impacting areas for improvement.
  • Produce business line reporting and drive tactical actions to ensure adequate network coverage and readiness to meet business growth needs.
  • Become a subject matter expert on the panel platform, including configuration, member management, data integration, and reporting.
  • Network Member Engagement and Performance Management
  • Build and manage the execution of the network engagement strategy to include new member onboarding and ongoing outreach activities.
  • Solicit feedback from contractor experiences to improve platform and communication.
  • Monitor network performance through regular contractor assessments and feedback tied to clearly established SLAs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance network retention, performance, engagement, and satisfaction.
  • Partner Compliance Management and Workflow
  • Develop, negotiate, and manage contractor agreements in alignment with company policies and legal requirements, both independent contractors and company partners.
  • Establish clear workflow processes and compliance standards tied to contract compliance, performance, and payment timelines, resolving issues promptly.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work in close partnership with internal clients to understand and fulfill business needs and metrics through the network ensuring quality and depth of geographical coverage meets current and projected business needs.
  • Serve as partner/conduit to product and development teams providing VOC input for network platform enhancements.
  • Work closely with scheduling, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment and support company goals.
