Vehicle Receive and Release Porter
About The Position
We are the world’s top supplier of automotive test facilities, providing a full range of services to commercial automotive industry customers. Customers include not only the world’s major vehicle providers and other original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), but also clients from the international motor sports community. We are in search of a Vehicle Receive and Release Porter. This is a very important position, and a great entry level position for anyone who is interested in the Automotive Testing Industry. BRIEF OUTLINE OF SPECIFIC ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Receive and release test vehicles Work with high secure vehicles Understand and recognize the importance of security and confidentiality with respect to test vehicles Drive vehicles from lot into garages Enter and track receive / release information in the database Install and remove camo for test vehicles Interface/ support customers in the garage, soak rooms, and test cells Wash vehicles as necessary Status of vehicles in numerous data bases Provide support to all Technicians Clean and organize all garage areas This position is full-time. Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Detail oriented
- Willingness to learn to distinguish various vehicle builds and test types
- Good knowledge of computers & interfacing skills
- Good customer service skills and attitude
- Good communication skills
- General technical aptitude
- Must complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and background check in addition to: Audiogram
Responsibilities
- Receive and release test vehicles
- Work with high secure vehicles
- Understand and recognize the importance of security and confidentiality with respect to test vehicles
- Drive vehicles from lot into garages
- Enter and track receive / release information in the database
- Install and remove camo for test vehicles
- Interface/ support customers in the garage, soak rooms, and test cells
