About The Position

Nightwing provides technically advanced full-spectrum cyber, data operations, systems integration, and intelligence mission support services. The company is seeking an Information Review and Release Analyst in the Herndon, VA area to support a dynamic Intelligence Community-customer in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position offering a flexible work schedule. The ideal candidate will primarily manage an array of cases, reviewing and researching document content according to Executive Order (EO) 13526, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), and/or Privacy Act (PA). The selected candidate will serve as the case manager and reviewer for various case types, including FOIA, Litigation, and Appeals. Responsibilities include formulating responses to requesters, collaborating with a dynamic team, managing and creating response letters, request for information (RFI) letters, initial response letters, and researching prior requests. The role also involves collaborating with other government agency (OGA) counterparts before final response and release decisions. Critical-thinking skills and experience with customer proprietary systems and tools are essential. Time management and teamwork are crucial, and the candidate must consistently deliver high-quality, accurate work, perform ad hoc duties, and be open to identifying process improvement ideas.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Privacy Act (PA), and Executive Order Mandatory Declassification Review (EOMDR) programs and Executive Order (EO) 13526 directive
  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Solid knowledge of the intelligence community with developed analytical skills background

  • Minimum of 11 years of experience specific to the skill (a Bachelor’s degree will be considered equivalent to 3 years of specialized experience, a Master's degree will be considered equivalent to 2 years of specialized experience)
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph Required Day 1
  • Experience using customer proprietary systems and tools

  • The ability to assist with process improvement initiatives
  • Minimum of five (5) years of Sponsor or Intelligence Community (IC) experience with Executive Order (EO) 13526 (or EO 12958 as amended)
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) or Privacy Act (PA)

Responsibilities
