This is a 3 Month W2 contract assignment with the opportunity for contract extension or to transition to a permanent, full-time role based on performance and business needs.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years administrative experience (in automotive industry preferred)
  • Working knowledge of computer usage including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Ability to work independently in a matrix environment to execute and deliver results
  • Excellent customer service and multi-tasking skills
  • High attention to detail including precise data entry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with a high sense of urgency in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License and the ability to pass a background check and drug test required
  • Can sit in any Manheim Market in the Region

Nice To Haves

  • Some college education (preferred)
  • 1+ years’ experience in transportation field or automotive auction house (preferred)
  • 1+ years’ experience in sales or call center (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate proficiency in making real time phone calls through the recorded line to verify vehicle status with pickup sites
  • Monitor and correct master data files for location errors
  • Manage email boxes for multiple locations and collaborate on regional emails
  • Request Hold Harmless/Releases
  • Process fees and post assessorial charges to record
  • Entry of all manual orders and processing of other AS400 system orders
  • Investigate kickback of VINs by carriers to get units re-dispatched
  • Manage escalated Client Success VINs with peers and agents
  • Monitor holds and verification delays
  • Dispatch negotiation and apply sales tactics to increase margin
  • Action AutoIMS for Trans Delay Holds, Cancellations, ETAs
  • Follow up with carriers on several VINs daily
  • Hold carriers accountable to their plan
  • Create and manage corrective action of a vendor
  • Monitor order entry failures throughout the day and correct
  • Understand margin relative to position and track margin requirements
  • Build relationships with Manheim Auction commercial team and management
  • Measure performance and understand analytics for clients and vendors
  • Report on performance results for high level management and executive leaders
  • Compile vehicle transportation related data and generate reports
  • Follow all job-related duties as directed by supervisor
  • Be an outside the box thinker who can solve problems quickly
