About The Position

J. Allen Ford - Vehicle Acquisition Specialist Do you have a knack for spotting opportunities and a passion for people? At J. Allen Automotive , we’re not just selling cars—we’re building a world-class pre-owned inventory, and we need a high-energy Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to lead the charge. In this role, you are the bridge between our Service and Sales departments. You’ll be the friendly face in the service lane, providing customers with valuable data on their current vehicles while helping us acquire the best pre-owned inventory in Gulfport. The Role: Connecting People to Opportunity This isn't your typical sales job. You are a consultant and a facilitator, ensuring every customer who visits our service department leaves with a better understanding of their vehicle's value.

Requirements

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage reports and data in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working in the service lane and staying proactive during peak traffic hours.
• While automotive experience is a plus, we value a "can-do" attitude and a willingness to learn our specialized equity tools.

Responsibilities

• Greet service customers and introduce them to our complimentary CarFax reports and real-time market valuations.
• Ensure every customer receives their vehicle's valuation and history report within 15 minutes of check-in.
• Use advanced tools like vAuto and equity mining software to identify customers in a great position to trade up or sell.
• Confirm next-day appointments by phone, setting the stage for a professional, value-added visit.
• Coordinate directly with the Acquisition and Sales Managers to transition interested leads into successful acquisitions.
