Position Summary: The role involves ensuring proper pumping and mixing of various egg products while adhering to safety and food quality standards.

Requirements

  • Less than high school education.
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) with two-digit numbers.
  • Ability to handle units of American money, weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Safety-minded with thorough knowledge of safety procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Motivated with good time management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work in wet environments.
  • Good physical ability for lifting and connecting lines.

Responsibilities

  • Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Connect and inspect product lines for daily production.
  • Load tankers with accurate product weights.
  • Pull samples for lab testing.
  • Monitor product quality, solids, and cooling.
  • Understand and manage ice builder and cooling procedures.
  • Set up and coordinate silo assignments.
  • Complete necessary paperwork for HACCP compliance.
  • Operate CIP (Clean-In-Place) systems.
  • Handle chemicals properly.
  • Work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  • Maintain good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
  • Collaborate with USDA and other departments.
  • Prepare liquid schedules and communicate with drivers.
  • Forklift operation.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy workplace.
  • Maintain sanitary conditions and report any issues affecting food safety and quality.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
