About The Position
The Value Stream Leader manages team leaders and operators to ensure efficient manufacturing activities across the plant. This includes production, materials, health & safety, quality control, and all steps along the value stream. The role is critical in driving operational excellence, team development, and alignment with the organization’s broader strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in automotive production or manufacturing operations.
- Experience in manufacturing companies, preferably within the automotive sector.
- Strong leadership, communication, prioritization, and sense of urgency.
- Technical skills: Excel, QAD, Kronos (or similar), MS Teams.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations and ensure compliance with established systems.
- Develop daily and weekly production plans, including resource allocation.
- Motivate and guide team members to achieve business goals.
- Identify and improve manufacturing processes and methods.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Support quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement.
- Manage work schedules, approve overtime, and allocate resources.
- Drive performance management and team development.
- Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, planning, and quality teams.
