About The Position

The Value Analysis Manager develops a long term, sustainable strategy for reducing non-labor expense, enhancing clinical supply chain performance, and improving clinical resource management contributing to the quality of patient care. The incumbent collaborates with clinical, administrative, and staff across the healthcare system and within a defined organizational committee structure to identify, develop and coordinate strategies for process improvement and cost savings opportunities related to improved product, technology, service and process standardization and utilization to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered, cost effective care, results-oriented project outcomes and value analysis best practices. The Value Analysis Manager reviews and assesses applicable financial, clinical, and operational data, along with evidence based literature, to appropriately assist in the selection, evaluation, monitoring, analysis and implementation of cost-effective products, technologies, services and processes. Engages Vizient (GPO) value analysis resources; attends networking events, conferences and meetings to maintain awareness of quality improvement and assurance activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within three (3) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 25+ years of service may be considered in lieu of education agreement
  • Registered Nurse license (RN) in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement (MSL)
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in a clinical setting such as Med Surg, OR, CV/IR required

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
  • Expertise in supply chain processes, performance and process improvement or re-engineering preferred
  • OR/Surgery Experience is preferred
