FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: Day Position Summary The Manager - Value Analysis develops a long term, sustainable strategy for reducing non-labor expense, enhancing clinical supply chain performance, and improving clinical resource management contributing to the quality of patient care. The incumbent collaborates with clinical, administrative, and staff across the healthcare system and within a defined organizational committee structure to identify, develop and coordinate strategies for process improvement and cost savings opportunities related to improved product, technology, service and process standardization and utilization to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered, cost effective care, results-oriented project outcomes and value analysis best practices. The Manager - Value Analysis reviews and assesses applicable financial, clinical, and operational data, along with evidence based literature, to appropriately assist in the selection, evaluation, monitoring, analysis and implementation of cost-effective products, technologies, services and processes. Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in Supply Chain Management or Finance experience with at least two years in a healthcare setting
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in a Supervisory or lead capacity

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
  • Certified Materials & Resource Professional certification and project management skills are strongly preferred
  • Formal training in Lean/Six Sigma or similar process improvement programs is preferred
