About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Test Engineer to play a key role in our testing laboratory. This position is central to executing validation activities, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results, and maintaining the performance and availability of test equipment. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in rotating mechanical systems and low voltage measurement systems, with a strong focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement in testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lab Operations & Scheduling Collaborate with engineering teams to plan and execute validation activities using lab resources and test equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and verification of lab equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test data.
  • Ensure compliance with internal protocols and industry standards.
  • Design and build new test fixtures and/or machines to support validation testing.
  • Provide technical guidance and informal mentorship to lab technicians.
  • Technical Execution and Troubleshooting Provide hands-on support for laboratory test equipment and measurement systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret test results and refine procedures.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, test anomalies, and data inconsistencies.
  • Apply root cause analysis techniques to improve test accuracy and repeatability.
  • Process Improvement & Documentation Develop and maintain test procedures, work instructions, and protocols.
  • Identify opportunities and implement strategies to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Support audits and ensure the lab is following regulatory standards.
  • Health and Safety Promote safe working environment and comply with safety and health requirements.
  • Complete required safety trainings and inspections.
  • Report and correct any unsafe practices as appropriate.
