About The Position

The Valet Manager at Caravan Court is responsible for the oversight, revenue generation, cost controls, staffing, and training of the valet department. Additionally, the Valet Manager is responsible for providing a warm, polished, and professional first and last impression to every guest. Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal abilities
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • No vehicle violations within the past 5 years
  • Two years of valet experience required

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests according hotel standards
  • Register all vehicles in parking platform
  • Communicate the valet process to the guest
  • Assist guests with any luggage and directional needs
  • Professionally and efficiently park guest vehicles
  • Create valet schedule by Thursday for a Sunday start
  • Complete valet payroll daily
  • Track and report overtime
  • Complete and document weekly training
  • Conduct rehearsal audits and coach as needed
  • Complete Progressive Discipline Forms as necessary
  • Perform quarterly appraisal forms
  • Administer coaching as needed
  • Ensure staff is following core standards, principals, and values
  • Act as property champion for valet parking digital platform
  • Monitor valet revenue and expenses through KPIs
  • Prepare and present P&L variances in valet revenue and expenses
  • Report and address any insurance claims (vehicle incidents, vehicle theft, vehicle vandalism, guest incidents/accidents, employee incidents/accidents)
  • Anticipate and attend to guest needs during interactions
  • Be proactive when attending to guests
  • Assist guests with all concierge services
  • Attend and contribute to department meetings
  • Participate in cross training
  • Complete all required trainings
  • Facilitate all internal communications and follow up accordingly
  • Run all reports necessary to the operation
  • Complete full shift pass on reports and checklists
  • Log all work in appropriate platforms
  • Adhere to all safety and security guidelines
  • Follow all driving regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas
  • Display courteous behavior with guests and team members
  • Report any unsafe conditions immediately
  • Ensure hotel equipment is in proper working condition
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
