Job Summary: Designs, develops, and ensures the quality of machine display user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) for embedded systems and industrial equipment.

Requirements

Creativity: Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for promoting creative, original thinking and applying it to machine display UI design.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of decision-making processes and tools; ability to analyze situations and make informed judgments for UI/UX design decisions.
Computer Software Industry: Knowledge of software industry trends related to embedded systems and machine display technologies.
Machine Display UI Design: Knowledge of UI design principles; ability to design, develop, maintain, and enhance embedded or industrial interfaces.
Human-Centered Design (HCD) : Knowledge of HCD principles; ability to understand operator needs and provide effective solutions for machine display interactions.
User Experience Design: Knowledge of UX design tools and techniques; ability to ensure machine display interfaces are intuitive, efficient, and meet user expectations.
User Interface Design: Knowledge of UI design practices; ability to create effective graphical interfaces for machine displays.

Responsibilities

Analyzes and documents business requirements on new machine display UI features.
Designs, develops, and implements UI solutions for machine displays to support business and operational needs.
Conducts UX quality assurance activities, including usability audits and compliance checks, to ensure optimal user experience.
Supports existing machine display interfaces and continuously enhances usability and performance.
Facilitates design thinking activities to improve machine display workflows and user interaction.
