About The Position

Multiple Positions Available: 1. Build a research road-map; communicate and refresh on regular basis to ensure relevancy; 2. Conduct lab-based user testing, remote testing, paper prototype testing, iterative prototype testing, concept evaluation, field research, and/or survey design; 3. Generate tools and frameworks such as archetypes/personas, user journeys, design principles, and templates to support design partners; 4. Conduct research utilizing focus groups, interviews, online surveys, digital diaries, moderated/unmoderated online panels, and/or customer panels; and 5. Create and optimize mechanisms that generate and track actionable customer insights to improve our products and services. 6. The pay range for this position in Bellevue, WA is $175,656/year to $ 205,900/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Requirements

  • Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Design, or a related discipline and 3 years of experience in job offered or in user experience research or user experience design related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Design, or a related discipline and five years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or in user experience research or user experience design related occupation.
  • 3 years of end-to-end experience with all aspects of research in an applied setting, including study design, test creation, recruiting, moderation/operational execution, analysis, and reporting.
  • 3 years of hands-on experience with research methods including: usability testing, focus groups, survey design, and data analysis.
  • 3 years of experience designing user research studies and synthesizing meaningful insights that drive innovative design.
  • 3 years of experience monitoring research, data, and trends from secondary research sources (both internal and external) such as academic research and industry reports to inform and improve research methods and methodology.
  • 3 years of experience incorporating research into the software, design, and product development lifecycle.
  • 3 years of experience driving multiple concurrent projects in an agile environment.
