About The Position

Fluke is searching for a UX Research Intern for summer 2026! As a UX Research Intern on our UX team, you will work closely with our design and product teams to conduct user research and provide insights that will inform the design and development of our products. Requirements

  • Must be able to relocate for the summer to Everett, WA.
  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field, graduating December 2026 or later.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with UX research methodologies, such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with UX design tools, such as Figma, is a plus.
  • A portfolio or samples of previous UX research projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Learn about the domain and user workflows through in-depth research and analysis to gain a comprehensive understanding of user needs and pain points.
  • Support and conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, on-site visits, and usability testing, to understand user needs and behavior.
  • Analyze and interpret research data to identify trends and insights that will inform product design and development decisions.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to develop user personas, user journeys, and other user-centered design artifacts.
  • Assist with the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and other design deliverables based on user research insights.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback based on research findings.
  • Present research findings.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest UX research methodologies and tools.
