Drives adoption and manages high-quality execution to enhance business outcomes. Responsible for generating new concepts from inception to successful execution, managing strategic partnerships. This role involves leading the overall product from a UX/UI design perspective for the MVP product currently under development. Specific responsibilities include the following: Formulating UX/UI guidelines based on product requirements, user perspectives, and case studies from other companies Sharing UX/UI guidelines with external design agencies, providing design direction, and conducting reviews Performing UX/UI design tasks yourself to produce high-quality outputs quickly Participating in design sprints conducted in parallel with MVP development, and providing input and advice from a UX/UI perspective Designing and creating a design system with an eye toward commercial app implementation (including direction) Consulting, explaining, and reaching consensus with stakeholders such as product teams, engineers, and design agencies Providing feedback on the content of surveys conducted by a separately established research team, focusing on delivery and design specifications Conducting research is not included in this scope of work Scope: Budget, employees direct and indirect and other resources managed. Requirements

  • 2+ years as a UX/UI designer for an in-house brand/marketing team or design agency
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design desired, or related work experience
  • Must be comfortable working both independently and within a team
  • Must be able to work rapidly to produce designs in a variety of styles.
  • Meet all project deadlines by balancing priorities and schedules
  • Advanced Demonstrated interpersonal/verbal communication skills
  • Advanced Demonstrated written communication skills
  • Advanced Ability to work as part of a team
  • Advanced Ability to influence internal and external constituents
  • This work will generally be performed remotely.
  • Participation in online meetings held during Japan Standard Time is mandatory as the project is led by Japanese side.
  • Depending on the meeting schedule, you may be required to attend meetings during the morning in Japan.
  • For practical purposes, you will report to the Product Lead at our Japanese project.
