About The Position

Job Summary · Provide quality and decisive supervision of intramural activities. · Facilitate a fun, safe and welcoming environment for participants. · Assist the Intramural Sports Supervisor with the Intramural Sports Program.

Requirements

• Current University of Utah Student
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• CPR certification required or able to complete via in house within one month

Responsibilities

• Provide quality officiating by enforcing the rules and ensuring participation in a safe manner
• Provide pre-game assistance in setting up equipment
• Assist in examining facility for safety hazards
• Assist in post-game duties
• Maintain an appropriate professional demeanor at all times
• Maintain a working knowledge of the sport’s rules and regulations
• Respond to injuries and assist in immediate first aid and proper emergency procedures
• Address potential conflicts before they escalate
• Other duties as assigned
