This opportunity entails being responsible for managing assigned project(s) within the utility design/coordination discipline area throughout their full lifecycle including developing the scope and technical sections of proposal and procurement documents to participating in contract negotiations and overseeing the delivery of the project plan to successfully accomplish HNTB’s 4 for 4 performance: delivery of quality work, on time, on budget and to the client’s satisfaction on every project. This position proactively manages the budget, schedule, technical requirements, contractual obligations, and client communications in support of the project’s objectives. Delivers high level technical tasks in area of discipline while managing and reviewing project documents and reports. The Technical Project Manager I typically manages project team(s) for one or more strategic (<$1M) projects or may lead and/or work as a discipline lead on a mini-mega ($1M to <$5M) project management team. Discipline areas may include but are not limited to: utility design, utility coordination, right of way, real estate, and land acquisition.
