About The Position

We are currently seeking a dedicated Utility Person to join our esteemed 5-Star Kitchen team! The ideal candidate will help maintain kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment in a clean and orderly condition.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school or equivalent education required; experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrape food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks for the dishwashing machine.
• Set up assigned stations with pre-determined mise en place to service prepared items.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
• Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Segregate and remove trash and garbage into designated containers.
• Steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
• Sort and crush disposable bottles.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Set up banquet tables.
• Assist the production area with plating assistance.
• Wash and peel vegetables.
• Load or unload trucks delivering supplies.
