Job Overview The Team Lead supervises daily field operations, directs the work of eight or more team members, ensures quality and safety compliance, and communicates updates to the Program Supervisor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Relevant experience in vegetation management, vegetation planning, or utility field work
  • ISA or technical certification preferred
  • Experience managing crews or peers
  • Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • All candidates must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate the daily activities of 8+ team members to ensure work is completed efficiently and on schedule
  • Monitor work quality and verify compliance with safety standards, company policies, and client specifications
  • Provide on-the-job guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to team members
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between field staff and the Program Supervisor
  • Communicate daily production updates, safety concerns, and operational challenges to leadership
  • Identify and address performance or compliance issues, escalating when necessary
  • Support training of new hires and reinforce best practices in the field
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to all applicable regulations and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
