This position as an Utilities Attorney Examiner 1 involves presiding as an administrative law judge over Commission cases, drafting decisions for Commissioners, reviewing initial case filings for procedural requirements, conducting settlement conferences, resolving procedural and discovery issues, conducting hearings and resolving evidentiary issues in natural gas, electric and power siting cases as well as other cases as assigned. The role also includes analyzing testimony and other evidence presented at hearings, drafting administrative law judge entries, proposed Commission entries and orders, and providing training to Legal Aides and College Interns, along with other assigned duties.
