The Usher will safely and courteously escort venue guests to their seats and will assist with the operation of events.

Requirements

  • Must be outgoing and able to provide exceptional customer service
  • Must be able to adhere to a schedule, arrive on time for events and stay for the duration of events
  • Must be able to successfully complete provided on-the-job training
  • Ability to learn venue layout and operating guidelines
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

  • Greets guests and assists them in finding their seats
  • Assists guests with locating exits and amenities such as restrooms and food & beverage locations
  • Assists any ADA guests or any other special needs to and from their seats
  • Ensures all walkways, aisles and designated seating areas are clean and free of debris
  • Calmly assists with disputes involving tickets and seats
  • Assists with guest complaints or concerns and reports to management
  • Monitors events for unruly behavior and reports to management
  • Watches for safety or security issues and reports to management
  • Assist and transport guests as needed around the facility during event
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned by management
