About The Position

Indy Eleven, a member of the United Soccer League Championship, is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our match day team as Ushers. As an Usher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our fans during home matches. Indy Eleven Ushers will be tasked with retaining knowledge of the venue and being capable of holding a perimeter to protect the privacy and safety of suite holders, players, etc... Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greet fans and assist them with locating their seats, restrooms, concessions, and other stadium facilities. Provide inviting and helpful assistance to address any questions or concerns. Monitor assigned sections of the stadium to ensure compliance with safety regulations and stadium policies. Assist with crowd control and emergency procedures as needed. Verify tickets and direct fans to the appropriate seating areas. Ensure that only authorized individuals enter restricted areas of the stadium. Assist with maintaining orderliness and ensuring a positive atmosphere among fans. Address any disruptive behavior in a calm and professional manner, following established protocols. Relay important information to fans, such as game updates, safety announcements, and promotions. Collaborate with other ushers, security personnel, and stadium staff to facilitate operations before, during, and after events.

Requirements

Good customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed in fast-paced and sometimes challenging situations.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
Ability to navigate stairs, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and at a minimum 13 out of our 17 USL home matches. Schedule can be found at https://www.indyeleven.com/schedule/
