About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled User Experience Digital Designer to craft engaging, intuitive, and student-centered digital experiences across multiple platforms and touchpoints. In this role, you will shape the look, feel, and functionality of websites, applications, and end-to-end journeys, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and usability. You will collaborate closely with designers, researchers, and technical teams to turn strategy and insights into tangible, testable designs. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Web Development, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience designing complex digital experiences in collaborative environments, preferably including iterative testing with users.
• Strong proficiency in design and prototyping tools, specifically Figma, and a solid understanding of design principles, interaction design, and usability standards.
• Knowledge of accessibility best practices and experience applying them in digital projects.
• Exceptional communication skills to articulate design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a cohesive design vision.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in higher education or large-scale enterprise platforms is a plus.
• IAAP certification for web accessibility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate research findings, business requirements, and journey maps into wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Design innovative and highly usable experiences across websites, applications, and multi-step user journeys.
• Partner with experience designers and UX researchers to validate concepts, iterate designs rapidly, and incorporate feedback from stakeholders and users.
• Present design concepts to stakeholders, facilitating alignment and informed decision-making across teams.
• Maintain consistency by applying and contributing to shared design systems, visual standards, and accessible design practices.
• Support development teams with detailed specifications and guidance to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
