About The Position

The company is seeking an experienced and driven Used Vehicle Sales Manager to lead its pre-owned sales operations and vehicle acquisition strategy. This role is an outstanding opportunity for a results-oriented leader to grow profitability, develop talent, and deliver the elevated customer experience expected from the BMW name. The Used Vehicle Sales Manager will oversee all aspects of the pre-owned business, including inventory acquisition, appraisals, pricing strategy, merchandising, sales performance, and team development. This leader will be crucial in driving growth, maximizing profitability, and ensuring every guest receives a premium experience.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated, competitive, and success-driven mindset
  • Minimum of 3 years’ automotive industry experience
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Sales Manager or Finance Manager
  • Proven ability to create and execute a strong vehicle acquisition strategy
  • Strong understanding of dealership appraisal tools, inventory management, and market pricing
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions and business needs
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, communication, and organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Satisfactory background check
  • Automotive management experience required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional appearance and leadership presence

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow pre-owned vehicle sales performance
  • Source and acquire quality inventory through trade-ins, auctions, and direct purchases
  • Manage pricing, merchandising, and digital marketing strategies
  • Monitor key performance metrics, forecasts, and departmental goals
  • Train, coach, and motivate the sales team for continued success
  • Ensure an exceptional client experience throughout the purchase process
  • Maintain alignment with dealership values, standards, and objectives
