Reliable Superstore in Springfield, Missouri is a high-volume, fast-paced Berkshire Hathaway Automotive dealership seeking a Toyota Used Car Director who can lead the department, drive performance, and hold a team accountable. This is a leadership role for someone who knows how to move inventory quickly while maintaining a low days supply, develop people, and maximize profitability without excuses.

Requirements

Proven success running a high-volume used car operation
Strong leadership presence—you can build a team and elevate it
Deep experience in deal structuring and CDK desking
Comfortable in a fast-moving environment where multitasking is non-negotiable
Relentless focus on results—you don’t wait, you act
A strong sense of urgency in daily tasks and the ability to resolve any and all issues swiftly
The ability to build and sustain a positive culture as a strong leader—not just a manager

Responsibilities

Grow our vehicle acquisitions alongside our Acquisition Manager
Owning the performance of the used car department from acquisition to sale
Recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing sales team
Managing multiple deals simultaneously with precision and urgency
Desking deals in CDK with strong structure and profitability focus
Maintaining aggressive inventory turn while protecting gross
Driving a culture of accountability, energy, and execution
Conducting daily lot walks and monitoring inventory to ensure it is always standing tall
Daily involvement in sales associates’ leads, including following up on previous day’s business, missed deals, and appointments; all efforts are logged and reviewed daily
