Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of proven Used Car or Sales Management experience
  • Strong understanding of inventory tools, pricing software, and market analytics
  • Demonstrated success in high-volume environments
  • Confident decision-maker who doesn’t hesitate on inventory or pricing
  • Strong desk skills, leadership presence, and communication ability
  • Results-driven mindset — excuses don’t live here

Responsibilities

  • Full control and accountability of the Used Vehicle Department
  • Aggressive inventory acquisition through trades, auctions, and direct purchase
  • Market-based pricing strategies to maximize turn and profit
  • Managing reconditioning costs and speed to frontline-ready
  • Daily appraisal leadership and deal structuring
  • Driving volume without sacrificing gross
  • Coaching and holding sales staff accountable to performance standards
  • Monitoring aging, turn rate, and ROI — and taking action immediately
  • Partnering with Sales & F&I leadership to close deals and improve penetration
  • Maintaining top-tier customer satisfaction and online reputation
