As a Used Car Buyer/Trade-In Specialist , you are responsible for following up with leads and creating valuable guest experience for customers wanting to sell or trade in their vehicles.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of customer service, retail, or sales experience
- Strong communication skills—both in person and over the phone
- Confidence in negotiating and guiding customers through the vehicle trade-in or selling process
- Ability to stay organized, follow up consistently, and work independently
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Reaching out to customers who have expressed interest in selling or trading in their vehicle
- Following up on inbound leads through phone, email, or text to gather vehicle info and set appointments
- Communicating regularly with customers to understand their needs and offer a competitive, fair-value deal
- Logging outreach and customer status updates in the CRM system
- Partnering with General Managers and Used Car Managers to understand inventory needs and source accordingly
- Occasionally attending car auctions to scout vehicle opportunities and support store-level buying goals
