About The Position

Servier in the U.S. is a Boston-based, commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company launched by Servier Group in 2018. As a privately held organization, Servier is uniquely positioned to advance cutting-edge science, tackle underserved therapeutic areas and make patients the focus of every strategic decision. We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented summer intern to join the U.S. Medical Information team. The intern will play a key role in enhancing our oncology standard response letter database and explore the incorporation of AI functionality in medical information deliverables. This role requires a strong interest in medical writing, clinical data interpretation and excellent communication skills. This role provides exposure to cross-functional partners primarily within Medical Affairs and key stakeholders include working with other Medical Information team members, Scientific Communications, and Medical Directors.

Requirements

  • Candidates must currently be enrolled in an accredited PharmD or PhD program, having completed at least 3 years of undergraduate coursework completed by start of the internship
  • Strong skills in medical writing and clinical trial data interpretation
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, along with excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in oncology and medical writing are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support the transition of U.S. standard response letters into new templates by writing, peer-reviewing and formatting medical content
  • Conduct comprehensive medical literature searches to update or create new standard response letters for use with healthcare professionals
  • Assist in implementing a new reference management system
  • Contribute to the exploration of AI tools for medical information application
  • Collaborate with U.S. Medical Information team to manage medical inquiries
  • Engage in side projects within the U.S. Medical Operations team if applicable (e.g. Medical Study Operations, Medical Learning & Capabilities)
