Misson: The HR Payroll Specialist supports the processing of the US and Canadian payroll (salaried and hourly) for OPMobility, including the day-to-day operations, maintenance and technical support for all payroll applications and coordinating with Finance, HR, IS&S and HR Managers. This work is done with the support of a Payroll Supervisor and Payroll Manager.
Requirements
- The HR Specialist is expected to be able to work independently by being self-motivated and organized.
- Have the ability to set priorities and manage deadlines without direct supervision.
- The HR Specialist is required to have a high degree of precision and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Ensure employees are paid accurately and on time, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations
- Provide reporting for payroll and HR applications
- Train managers and staff on correct use of payroll system
- Payroll administrative responsibilities
