About The Position

We are seeking a talented individual to lead our US & Canada (‘US&C’) Digital and Product Management teams at Marsh. This role will be based in New York. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. This role reports into the Marsh Risk AI and Digital Colleague Experience leader. This is a high-impact leadership role that sits at the intersection of engineering, colleague experience, business U.S. and Canada Digital Leader drives initiatives within Marsh’s Business & Client Service organization as a key role enabling delivery of the regions business strategy. Partners with the US & Canada COO and the business to set and drive the strategic direction and technology strategy. This role will be responsible for driving new product and process innovation, identifying and scaling AI use cases, and end to end digitization of operations across the business.

  • A proven track record of successfully delivering complex technology change and transformation programs
  • Experience in developing and driving alignment around a vision, partnering in a highly matrixed environment, setting goals, initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance
  • Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to flex thinking between high level strategy and the details that matter
  • A strong bias toward action and learning, and obsessing over knowing your customers better to remove friction from their experiences
  • Strong communication, relationship building, collaboration and influencing skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail; excellent oral and written communication skills; self-organized and process driven

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and scaling of our artificial intelligence product portfolio.
  • Oversee US&C digital products and services end-to-end including conception, launch, execution and scale in coordination with business divisions, technology and your delivery partners
  • Understand market factors, competition, strategic opportunities, and executive priorities in depth informing a digital product strategy and bridging local and global strategy
  • Be the conduit to translate client needs into product, data output and technical capabilities to deliver holistic digital capabilities seamlessly
  • Ensure that regional client and regulatory requirements are included into the strategic-planning process for the digital product roadmaps with leadership commitment and adequate local resource allocation for successful execution.
  • Measure ROI (e.g., adoption targets, cycle-time reduction, operational efficiency, workflow automation throughput, etc.) on digital projects, fine-tuning approaches as needed to ensure we're investing in the right tools and resources
  • Be a digital evangelist, championing the use of digital technology and practices to engender a digital culture mindset from the top down
  • Build and maintain exceptionally strong relationships with delivery partners including business, IT, operations, support, vendors, and more.
  • Lead product discovery exercises focused on crystallizing the end-user needs and curating demand in your digital product domain.
  • Manage the conversion of high-level business requirements and use cases into detailed functional specifications and project plans, including multi-year projects.
  • Negotiate resource requirements with responsible management when faced with conflicts in priorities.
