The Global Merchant & Network Services (GMNS) Product team leads the strategy, development, and operation of payment services across the American Express Global Network. The team is responsible for safely and securely processing approximately $1.7T in annual global transaction volume, while delivering innovative capabilities to issuers, acquirers, and merchants worldwide. Our remit spans network operations, enhancement of existing capabilities, new product innovation, and end-to-end partner lifecycle management. Through proprietary and third-party solutions, we enable secure, seamless transactions that create value for Card Members and partners around the world. Secure Remote Commerce (SRC) / Click to Pay is a key strategic product within the GMNS Product suite. As an EMVCo industry-standard digital checkout solution, SRC delivers a consistent, secure, and frictionless checkout experience across browsers, devices, and payment networks. How will you make an impact in this role Secure Remote Commerce/Click to Pay is an EMVCo industry standard digital checkout solution (think online purchases) which provides a seamless consistent digital checkout experience across browsers, devices, and payment networks. We are looking for a motivated, hardworking, and passionate individual to drive adoption at global issuers and merchants through partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. You will also partner with the technology team to deliver product priorities.

Requirements

  • Communication\: Able to provide concise, simple articulation of problem statements and solutions
  • Adaptability and Drive\: Fast learner, with ability to use own initiative and a ‘can do’ attitude towards problem solving and decision making
  • Collaboration\: Ability to liaise and collaborate with stakeholders, understand needs, and influence them towards the right solution
  • Product Management Methodologies\: Experience of working within an Agile product delivery framework including product road mapping
  • Analytical\: Market/Industry Analysis, interpreting data into meaningful insights
  • Product management experience

  • Experience in the payments industry

Responsibilities

  • Identify, track, and monitor key performance indicators and achievements for the product
  • Use analytical abilities and strategic perspective to identify trends & recommend solutions that will help improve the user experience
  • Assist in developing the business case for new product features
  • Assist with research of regulatory and industry developments and provide preliminary input on analysis of potential implications and opportunities
  • Create and maintain product documentation and guides
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Technology, Compliance and other stakeholders to gather and document product requirements and to ensure timely delivery of product features
