About The Position

This locum tenens Urologist position is located in York, PA, and involves clinical-only coverage in both hospital and outpatient clinic settings. The coverage period is from June 29 to July 24, 2026, with specific dates including June 29 – July 3, 2026, and July 20 – July 24, 2026. The clinical shift schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The role primarily involves treating adult patients (18+, with rare pediatric emergencies) with an expected volume of approximately 24–28 patients per day. The case mix includes office visits and various urology procedures such as cystoscopy, stents, lithotripsy, prostate procedures, and vasectomy. The facility is a Level I–IV trauma center utilizing the Epic EMR system and provides office equipment like cystoscopes, towers, and injection equipment. Multidisciplinary surgical teams are available for specialty backup, supported by 4 MAs, 1 RN, 1 CSA, and APP support. This position is for supplemental coverage. Hospital privileges are required, with temporary privileges available for candidates with a clean file, and a credentialing timeline of approximately 90 days.

Requirements

• PA license preferred (willing to license)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
• DEA Required
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Comfortable with clinic and procedural mix
• Supervision of APPs required
• Cystoscopy
• Ureteroscopy
• Lithotripsy
• Prostate procedures
• Vasectomy

Nice To Haves

• Vasectomy reversal preferred but not required

Responsibilities
