Physician Opportunity – Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care - St. Louis Region We’re excited to offer a highly competitive sign-on bonus of $25,000 for physician roles Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician to join our team in St. Louis, Missouri. We offer flexible scheduling options, including full-time and part-time roles, in a collaborative and modern clinical environment. As a Physician at Mercy-GoHealth, you’ll independently provide a wide range of clinical services, including: Examining and treating patients with acute conditions Taking medical histories and ordering diagnostic tests Making diagnoses and prescribing medications Performing minor procedures and administering vaccinations Documenting patient progress and coordinating follow-up care Supervising and collaborating with PA/NPs, including remote supervision and credentialing support Working 8- or 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality care in a modern, integrated healthcare environment, with room for professional growth and development. Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds
- Active state medical license
- 2–5 years of post-residency clinical experience, with at least 18 months in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting
- Experience treating patients across all age groups
- Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing and splinting, and in reading EKGs and X-rays
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Comfort collaborating with advanced practice providers
