About The Position

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Inpatient/Outpatient Responsibilities: Outpatient only Call Ratio: Balanced call ratio shared among physicians and sites Daily Patient Census: Average 20-40 patients per day Equipment/Resources: Access to state-of-the-art medical equipment and comprehensive resources Provider Support: Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board-certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or a related field
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state of California
  • Proven experience in urgent care or emergency medicine settings
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities

  • Consult with patients to assess urgent care needs and determine appropriate treatment plans
  • Recommend and order diagnostic tests to evaluate illnesses and injuries
  • Monitor lab results and medication adherence
  • Prescribe treatments, therapies, medications, and vaccinations as necessary
  • Educate patients and families on procedures, test results, and treatment options
  • Refer patients to specialists when needed
  • Actively participate in hospital committees and initiatives
  • Collaborate with and supervise APPs to enhance patient care

  • APP Supervision: $12,000 per year per 1.0 FTE APP
  • Signing Bonus: up to $30,000
  • Retention Bonus (beginning at the completion of the 2 nd year): up to $30,000 per year
