Peachtree Immediate Care is a leading urgent care operator in the state of Gia. We are proud to be a part of the prestigious Emory Healthcare Network. We have an opening for a Medical Provider who delivers healthcare services to patients in a clinical setting, ensuring patients are treated with high standards of care. Employees in this role ensure a high quality and consistent approach to patient care. We are looking for someone who is caring, courteous and efficient. Individuals in this role need to be detail oriented, have strong interpersonal skills, bepetent in medical best practices and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Requirements
- Doctorate (MD /DO) with Gia medical license and DEA certification.
- ABMS Board certification in internal medicine or family medicine or if board eligible then intention to be board certified within 1 year of onboarding.
- Competent withmon PC applications including Internet, Email and Microsoft Office as well asfortable with EMR applications.
Responsibilities
- Oversee urgent and primary care walk-ins and appointments of ages 2 and up as the sole provider.
- Average volume of 35 patients per 12-hour day, or just under three patients per hour.
- Perform minor office procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, toenail removal, and orthopedic splinting.
- Perform physicals such as sports, DOT, pre-employment, and annuals.
- Evaluate patients for workers'pensation injuries.
