A Day in the Life The Upstream Consumer Product Manager will play a pivotal role in advancing the future of diagnostics through upstream marketing leadership and strategic portfolio development. Focused on the LINQ Insertable Cardiac Monitor (ICM) platform, this position offers a unique opportunity to influence innovation at the intersection of medical device and consumer health. The ideal candidate brings a strong strategic mindset, analytical depth, and a demonstrated ability to translate complex market insights into compelling product visions. This role is essential to ensuring that future innovations in cardiac diagnostics are grounded in need, commercially viable, and technologically differentiated. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in marketing or strategic product planning within the digital health or consumer space
  • Experience in direct to consumer or digital health products
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience in market modeling and opportunity valuation
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage credibly with clinical and executive stakeholders
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, including both domestic and international

  • Demonstrated success in influencing product strategy through structured market analysis and clinical insight
  • Experience collaborating with R&D and cross-functional teams in early-stage product development
  • Background in AI-enabled technologies, digital health solutions, or data-driven product development
  • Expertise in Voice of Customer research, user needs assessment, or workflow analysis
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Portfolio Development Define and execute upstream strategy for the next generation of LINQ ICM solutions for entering a new space with new customers and business models. Identify unmet needs, emerging use cases, and evolving customer expectations to inform short-term go-to-market strategies and long-term portfolio direction.
  • Core Team Representation Serve as the upstream marketing lead and Core Team member for cross-functional product development initiatives. Partner closely with R&D to align technical innovation with strategic market objectives.
  • Market & Opportunity Analysis Conduct rigorous market research, competitive benchmarking, and global opportunity sizing. Evaluate new customer segments and business models with a data-driven approach.
  • Voice of Customer & KOL Engagement Lead structured Voice of Customer (VoC) initiatives to capture insights. Translate feedback into product requirements and positioning strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate extensively with Commercial Marketing, R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Finance, Quality, and Health Economics teams to support business case development and define value-focused product specifications.
  • Innovation & Technology Integration Monitor advancements in digital health, remote monitoring, and AI-enabled diagnostics. Identify opportunities to integrate these technologies into the LINQ platform to enhance impact.
  • Strategic Communication Develop compelling business cases, market models, and executive-level communications to support investment decisions and organizational alignment.
