About The Position
We are seeking a visionary Mathematics Educator to serve as our Instructional Lead . This pivotal role is designed to bridge the gap between high-level curricular goals and daily classroom practice. The successful candidate will spearhead the implementation of our new mathematics curriculum, provide peer-to-peer coaching, and evaluate the efficacy of updated pedagogical strategies to ensure high levels of student achievement.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Mathematics Education (K-12) or Curriculum & Instruction preferred.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of successful high school math teaching experience.
- A background in Integrated Mathematics with a proven ability to weave Algebra, Geometry, and Data Literacy together.
- Demonstrated experience in adult learning, instructional coaching, department head role, and/or mentoring student teachers.
- Experience in modular or block scheduling and the ability to coach others on "pacing vs. depth."
- Expertise in graphing technologies (Desmos, GeoGebra), LMS platforms (Canvas), and the online resources provided by the new curriculum.
