Cape Henry Collegiate's History and Social Science Department is seeking a full-time Upper School History and Social Science teacher starting in August 2026. The ideal candidate is a passionate, student-centered educator with a strong background in International Relations, U.S. Government, and/or Modern World History. The school is committed to graduating independent thinkers and globally aware citizens, with the History and Social Science Department central to this mission. The role requires deep content knowledge, energy, creativity, and flexibility to engage curious students through dynamic learning experiences. The program offers diverse courses in World History, U.S. History, U.S. Government, and related fields. The educator should be comfortable with inquiry-driven discussions, collaborative projects, and innovative approaches that incorporate multiple perspectives.
