About The Position

Responsibilities Assignment may include teaching courses as assigned during day and evening hours. Have a commitment to professional excellence and continuous growth in the fields of teaching. Other professional responsibilities and activities normally expected of members of community college faculty as described by Board Policies and the California Education code. Minimum Qualifications Possession of a master’s degree or equivalent foreign degree in the discipline of the faculty member’s assignment as listed in Minimum Qualifications for Faculty and Administrators of the California Community Colleges In disciplines where the master’s degree is not generally expected or available but where a related bachelor’s degree or associate degree is generally expected or available, possession of either A master’s degree or equivalent foreign degree in the discipline directly related to the faculty member’s teaching assignment and two years of professional experience directly related to the faculty member’s teaching assignment and any appropriate licensure or A bachelor’s degree or equivalent foreign degree in the discipline directly related to the faculty member’s teaching assignment and six years of professional experience directly related to the faculty member’s teaching assignment and any appropriate licensure.

Requirements

  • Possession of a master’s degree or equivalent foreign degree in the discipline of the faculty member’s assignment as listed in Minimum Qualifications for Faculty and Administrators of the California Community Colleges
  • A master’s degree or equivalent foreign degree in the discipline directly related to the faculty member’s teaching assignment and two years of professional experience directly related to the faculty member’s teaching assignment and any appropriate licensure
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent foreign degree in the discipline directly related to the faculty member’s teaching assignment and six years of professional experience directly related to the faculty member’s teaching assignment and any appropriate licensure
