The Clinician Unlicensed provides mental health support services to members served and their families at the program. The Clinician also assists in the coordination of all mental health support services provided by the Team. This includes coordinating and collaborating with team members and outside agencies such as, the Conservator’s Office, Public Guardian’s Office, Probation Department, County Behavioral Health Services, and housing and inpatient providers. Serenity House is a 13 bed, short-term intensive Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) program serving adult residents of San Mateo County who are experiencing a mental health crisis. The program will operate 24-hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Clients may be referred from the hospital, jail, community, or self-referred. The goal of the program is to help clients experiencing acute psychiatric distress avoid inpatient hospitalization and emergency services; regain their stability; and begin working toward longer-term recovery goals.
