The University Recruiter is responsible for developing and executing early‑career and campus recruiting strategies that build sustainable talent pipelines aligned with current and future workforce needs. This role delivers organizational value by establishing long‑term partnerships with academic institutions, increasing brand presence among emerging talent populations, and ensuring a consistent flow of qualified candidates into entry‑level, internship, and development programs. The position is accountable for recruiting outcomes, candidate experience, institutional relationships, and supports early‑career hiring objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelors
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-3 years Talent acquisition or related H.R. or business experience. Required
  • 1-3 years Experience in University or campus recruiting, early-career, internship or rotational program recruitment. Required
  • Communication skills: Stellar interpersonal and communication skills, fostering meaningful relationships with stakeholders. (High proficiency)

Responsibilities

  • Designs and executes comprehensive university recruiting strategies to support internships, entry‑level, and rotational hiring programs.
  • Analyzes workforce plans, hiring forecasts, and historical outcomes to determine target schools, disciplines, and engagement models.
  • Accountable for achieving early‑career hiring goals and maintaining a balanced, high‑quality talent pipeline.
  • Establishes and manages strategic relationships with universities, colleges, student organizations, and career services offices.
  • Represents the organization at campus events, career fairs, information sessions, and networking forums.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for assigned institutions and is accountable for the effectiveness and return on investment of campus partnerships.
  • Owns and administers the Handshake platform and the activity reflects brand standards, compliance requirements, and measurable return on investment.
  • Sources, screens, and assesses early‑career candidates using applicant tracking systems, CRM tools, and campus engagement activities.
  • Facilitates interviews, coordinates assessments, and partners with hiring leaders to evaluate candidate readiness and potential.
  • Ensures selection processes are equitable, compliant, and aligned with organizational standards.
  • Manages external recruiting vendors and technology partners supporting university recruiting programs, including system utilization, service delivery, and performance outcomes.
  • Oversees logistics and execution of early‑career hiring cycles, aligning academic calendars with hiring timelines.
  • Tracks recruiting metrics, prepares reports, and provides insights to Talent Acquisition leadership.
  • Ensures recruiting activities comply with employment laws, institutional guidelines, and internal policies.
