AMD together we advance_ The University Relations (UR) Recruiting Coordinator will be tasked with assisting the university relations team to bring the top student talent to AMD by leading our events and engagements with candidates and students. The University Recruiting coordinator is passionate about talent acquisition and working with the next generation of hires. They are a key member of the university recruiting team, supporting all virtual and in-person events for recruiting and the AMD internship program. They will partner with university recruiters, PMs, and the leadership team.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma with 4 years of experience or Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience in campus recruiting, talent acquisition, and/or customer service
  • Passion for finding and attracting top student talent
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with a project management approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain positive, cross-functional relationships in a matrixed environment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Results-oriented mindset, including a high sense of urgency, determination, and tenacity
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team, manage conflict, and build trust

Responsibilities

  • Support the University Relations (UR) team with intern events and engagement activities
  • Assist in planning intern events by coordinating logistics such as room reservations, catering, and setup for both virtual and in-person locations
  • Manage on-campus, off-campus, and virtual event arrangements, ensuring signage, swag, catering, A/V, and other event needs are prepared and available
  • Keep the team updated on upcoming events and key details
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors and suppliers to ensure successful event execution
  • Attend and provide on-site support for all intern program events
  • Develop and share social media content highlighting intern events and experiences
  • Assist with additional projects related to the intern program
  • Support UR team with logistics and administrative tasks
  • Maintain inventory of swag and giveaways
  • Schedule and plan UR meetings
  • Post job descriptions with universities
  • Manage communications with interns and new college hires in a Candidate Relationship Management system, creating standard templates
  • Ensure internal and external events are shared in LinkedIn, as necessary
  • Share ideas and provide input for future events
  • Assist with other team projects as needed
  • Manage event planning for UR team, including virtual and in-person recruiting events
  • Register for Career Fairs, campus events, conferences, and virtual engagements
  • Organize participants to attend events, ensure all participants are prepared with details for events, and confirm that events are fully staffed
  • Maintain list of campus team members
  • Place orders for event materials
  • Ship required equipment and materials to events
  • Communicate event details to UR Team and AMD representatives, including details on logistics
  • Create and manage comprehensive event schedules (including time, date, location) in event management tool
  • Communicate schedules and any changes in a timely manner
  • Track all event and engagement expenses, including event registration cost
  • Support reporting on events from event management tool
