About The Position

SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture with SSM Health, is seeking a Unit Secretary for its Bridgeton, MO location. This per diem/PRN position involves 12-hour shifts (7am-7:30pm or 8am-8:30pm) with a compensation of $20.50/PRN Rate. The inpatient rehabilitation hospital is dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care to individuals with various conditions including brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas. Requirements

Proficient computer skills required

Nice To Haves

A minimum of 1 year of clerical experience in a medical setting
High School Graduate or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

Performs clerical functions for the nursing unit, including record keeping, maintenance of logs, and chart organization.
Notifies the nursing staff and/or nurse manager in a timely manner of pertinent patient information, including physician orders, laboratory or test results, and communication from other departments.
