Unit Secretary PRN
About The Position
SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture with SSM Health, is seeking a Unit Secretary for its Bridgeton, MO location. This Per Diem/PRN position involves working as needed, typically 12-hour shifts from 7am-7:30pm or 8am-8:30pm, with compensation at a $20.50/PRN rate. The inpatient rehabilitation hospital is dedicated to delivering exceptional and compassionate care to address the medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges faced by individuals with various conditions such as brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas.
Requirements
- Proficient computer skills required
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of 1 year of clerical experience in a medical setting
- High School Graduate or equivalent preferred
Responsibilities
- Performs clerical functions for the nursing unit, including record keeping, maintenance of logs, and chart organization.
- Notifies the nursing staff and/or nurse manager in a timely manner of pertinent patient information, including physician orders, laboratory or test results, and communication from other departments.
