Sodexo at Stevenson University is seeking a Unit Controller in Owings Mills, Maryland This role ensures accuracy, transparency, and compliance while driving process improvements and cost-control initiatives. The Controller will partner closely with operational leaders to analyze performance, identify opportunities for efficiency, and support informed strategic decision-making. Strong healthcare finance experience, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to manage complex, multi-entity financials are essential for success in this role. What You'll Do Oversee financial operations across multiple business units, ensuring compliance with Sodexo policies and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement financial controls, processes, and reporting to maintain the accuracy and integrity of data. Manage budgeting and forecasting cycles across all units, aligning financial plans with organizational goals. Report VMP Monthly, Review Market Connection, and prepare Weekly Flash Daily review of E-Vision Knowledge of UFS, Budget preparation, E-Planning, PAM & UKG Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for multiple entities, ensuring accurate reporting. Consolidate financial statements and provide detailed variance analysis against budgets and forecasts Partner with operational leaders to drive profitability, cost optimization, and strategic decision-making Identify and mitigate financial risks through proactive analysis and internal control enhancements Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity for all units to ensure financial stability What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
