Responsibilities: May oversees one or more of the following functions: budgeting, tax, payroll, analysis and accounting activities throughout the organization. Provides direction to Finance department in computer applications and procedures necessary to provide appropriate guest and employee services, maintains proper records to afford adequate accounting controls. Provides financial, accounting, personnel and operational support to the CFO. Designs and implements systems of internal control to safeguard company assets. Reviews and approves the company's financial statements on a monthly basis. May directs the budgeting, financial analysis and payroll functions of the corporation, providing appropriate information to management in order to implement operational and financial and capital plans. Coordinates tax activities with the assistance of corporate personnel to ensure compliance with legal and financial obligations. Directs cash activities in order o maintain appropriate balances and to maximize investment opportunities. Provides financial information and analysis to corporate personnel in order to monitor overall Bally’s Casino Corporation financial objectives and to meet external reporting requirements. Ensures compliance with company policies and Louisiana gaming regulations. Maintains high levels of customer and team-member service. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications: Directly supervises General Ledger Accountant and Senior Accountant, Payroll Supervisor and Accounts Payable Supervisor. Indirectly supervises payroll clerks and accounts payable clerks. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
