MOED's vision is to create an equitable workforce system that ensures viable economic opportunities for all residents, especially those generationally and systemically disadvantaged, and to ensure employers have the human resources to grow and prosper. YouthWorks is one of Baltimore City’s youth employment programs under MOED, connecting Baltimore city residents aged 14-21 with work opportunities to earn money, gain workforce skills, and experience. Youth workers are exposed to career opportunities and financial education. YouthWorks is committed to ensuring access for those most impacted by systemic racism, youth receiving public assistance, low-income families, and youth involved with the Department of Juvenile Services. This Unit Clerk position is a service delivery role providing direct support to a YouthWorks unit, which comprises approximately 30-50 worksites employing 500-700 youth. Assignments are carried out in accordance with Baltimore City (COB) and MOED - Youth Services Division procedures and policies. The work is performed under the supervision of an MOED administrative superior.
